Orchard Healthcare are pleased to announce the introduction of an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) at a discounted annual rate of just £8.00 per employee for all current customers.

The EAP will be provided by Validium, a professional and independent Employee Assistance provider who support over 350 organisations in the UK.

With support available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year offering access to both telephone and face to face counselling.

The following is a summary of the benefits available, additional information is available on request.


Offering access 24/7 to an unlimited telephone counselling service for you to call and talk directly to a qualified counsellor about issues affecting you. 

Telephone support is available on issues such as:

·        Mental health including stress, anxiety and emotional health

·        Relationship difficulties and marital issues

·        Bereavement and family problems

·        Child and elder care advice

·        Employment concerns and work/ life balance

·        Couples counselling / relationship difficulties

·        Legal advice

·        Personal money matters guidance and debt support

·        Addictions

In addition to the telephone helpline members are eligible for up to 6 face to face counselling sessions.  Provided by councillors based throughout the UK, counselling can include couples counselling.


Legal help

The Legal team staffed by lawyers can deal with a wide range of legal issues such as housing, relationships, employment, welfare, tax, wills / probate and crime.


Health information service

Staffed by a team of fully qualified health professionals, including registered nurses, to cover a wide range of medical and health/lifestyle issues. Comprehensive information will be provided to help you cope with or resolve the problem.  Issues covered include: Physical Health, Positive health, Lifestyle management (e.g. diet, exercise, sleep, resilience, relaxation), and Child/Elder/Carer support.


Personal money matters guidance and debt support

Financial specialists can offer help on a variety of personal matters, including tax and VAT, state benefits, insurance, mortgages, credit cards and pensions.

The specialist Debt Counselling service is staffed by experienced debt advisors and insolvency practitioners offering guidance tailored to the level of debt.  The service can offer in depth support to individuals with serious financial problems, including those requiring Debt Management plans or Individual Voluntary Arrangements.


Critical incident support

Helps members cope with the impact of personal or work-related traumatic events. The service provides consultation, guidance and information in the aftermath of critical incidents.


Online Access and app

Members can gain access to an online portal or app offering a health related resource bank with useful articles, information sheets and podcasts regarding a range of health topics including Counselling, debt, addiction, health and wellbeing, carer care and self help guides.
